Mental Health First Aid

Richmond Foundation is the licensed Mental Health First Aid provider for Malta.

Many are familiar with physical first aid courses, which teach essential skills to identify and address life-threatening emergencies in various scenarios. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training takes a similar approach but focuses on mental health.

This programme provides practical, skills-based training to help participants recognize and assist individuals dealing with mental health challenges or crises until professional support is available or the situation is resolved.

Awareness Sessions and Campaigns

When the agreement between an organisation and Richmond Foundation gets finalised, Healthy Minds Learn can assist the organisation with promoting Healthy Minds Work amongst all employees by:

  • Delivering 1-hour awareness sessions on Stress and Mental Well-Being.
  • Sharing a unique poster every month to remind all employees that they are entitled to Healthy Minds Talk.
  • Provide the organisation with leaflets and other material which may be used in relevant activities held by the organisation (such as Health Week, Mental Health Day etc.)
